The master's programme aims to train expert professionals capable of applying a gender approach in all areas of design, planning, and urban and territorial policies for professional engagement in research, public administration, and freelance work.
The teaching is structured around topics that outline a path ranging from the dimension of living to the territorial and policy dimensions. The course provides tools for analysing and interpreting the urban environment and the different issues that affect the people who live in it, including from an international perspective. Starting with the history module (genealogies), contributions, approaches, proposals and solutions that constitute the wealth of knowledge and reflections of the feminist and gender approach to the city will be illustrated. These tools will be tested in the workshop parts of the course, with the aim of experimenting with ideas and solutions that are situated and adapted to the contexts.
