Cities and universities free from gender-based violence: reflections and practices of body mapping

Starting from a reflection on how architecture and urban planning can contribute to the construction of cities and territories capable of including a gender perspective, the seminar involved participants in experimenting with the technique of body mapping, in order to build with them a map of their perception of safety in the urban spaces of the city where they study.
Open to all members of the university and the general public, it was attended by around 100 students from the School of Architecture.
Given the high level of interest shown by the student community in the seminar's content, a repeat session is planned for 3 December at the PIN in Prato.
